No late fees my ass.
I’m watching a blockbuster commercial right now. They’re touting the new “no late fees” aspect of their system. I hadn’t seen the fine print before now.
At participating stores only. Rental product kept more than 7 days after the due date is converted to a sale.
And the next little bit…
Sale may be reversed by returning the product within 30 days of the sale date and paying a $1.25 restocking fee.
What, exactly makes a “restocking fee” different from a “late fee”? Not to mention the $20 odd they charge you for the DVD itself.
